Reporting

Report Types

There are two basic types of reports, free-form and fill in the blank forms.

Examples of free-form are chapter annual narrative reports, awards reports, and state conference reports. These reports are creatively written and should be saved in RTF (rich text format) preferred, in DOC/X (Word document format), or other word processing formats. Please do not save free-form reports as graphic images in png, jpg, or pdf formats. These latter formats are picture files which are not meant for text. Please review the report formatting guidelines. Visit the Templates page for a sample report template.

Fill in the blank forms are usually fillable PDF forms which can be downloaded from the State Members’ website, filled in, saved on your computer, and transmitted by file upload in DARMER 2.1.

Report Transmission

After your report has been either written or filled-out, the next step is to send it per the submission required for that report (postal mail, email or DARMER 2.1).

When you are ready, click the link to navigate to DARMER 2.1, and complete the form. You can attach your file/files from your computer (which you previously have filled-in or written) to submit to DAR of Michigan.

After your reports are uploaded, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt by DAR of Michigan of your submission.
